About This Record
What Was Written Down
Related to the Gwebu and, per Kuper as reported, found ahead in the country. Dingili Nkonyane recalled a tradition that the Shabangu came rolling from Tshontsho in a silulu (grain basket), a motif the interviewers associated with Sotho-derived origin accounts. Recorded from the sources named on this entry; the wording here is Sibaya's own.
