Sibaya
Subscriptions

Free for every family.

Sibaya is not priced by the size of a family. Members, relationships and contributors never affect what you pay, and a family that grows does not cost more.

The free tier is the one most families will use.

It is designed as a complete way to keep a family's record, not as the narrow end of a funnel. Everything below is available today.

Free, Forever

Sibaya

The home for your family.

Free forever

  • Your Whole Family Every relative, every generation, every contributor. Inviting them never changes what you pay.
  • The Family Tree, Memories And Albums Building the tree, and keeping photographs, albums, clans and events together.
  • Family Chats And The Journal Talking together, and writing down what you want kept.
  • Everyday AI Relationships, clans, surnames, translation, search, summaries and guidance.
  • Room To Begin A storage allowance at no cost, so a family can start preserving before deciding anything.
  • Your Data, Exportable What you have preserved can be taken out again, on this tier as on every other.

This is not a trial and there is no card to add. The set of capabilities every tier holds is the set this tier holds.

Not Yet Open

Four more offerings, none of them on sale.

Each one adds depth for a family that wants to go further. None has a price on this page, and none has an action on this page, because neither would be true yet.

Coming Soon

Sibaya+

Coming Soon

Sibaya Legacy

The complete family museum and studio.

Coming Soon · Once-Off

The Legacy Endowment

Some things you don't rent.

One payment rather than a subscription, holding the Legacy experience for life, with priority support and a named successor custodian. AI credits replenish each year and storage beyond the included allowance is a paid expansion on the same terms as every tier.

By Arrangement

Institutional Archives

For royal households, clans, museums, churches and community archives.

Not a larger tier but a different conversation, agreed case by case. It carries no price field at all in the product, and an institution's storage allocation is agreed rather than published.

No figure appears above because none of these is on sale, and because the prices are values the product tunes at runtime rather than constants built into a page. A number printed here would be a snapshot of something designed to move.

The One Rule

Inviting your family never changes what you pay.

Revenue follows the real cost of storage, AI processing, advanced preservation and creator tools, and print. It does not follow how many people you are related to. Invite every relative, every generation and every contributor on any tier, including the free one.

Where A Gate Sits

On recording, never on taking part.

Family Rooms is planned rather than built, and its terms are already settled: joining a room, listening in it and speaking in it are held on every tier. Only recording, the act of preserving the conversation, belongs to the paid tiers, because a preserved recording carries real ongoing cost. One person preserves; everyone takes part. Whether anyone is holding the tape is a question for the archivist, not a door on the room.

Available And Planned

What works now, and what does not yet.

Stated separately because a comparison that mixes them is a comparison of things a family cannot check.

Available today, on the free tier

  • The family tree
  • Memories and albums
  • Clans and events
  • Family chats
  • The journal
  • Everyday AI
  • Exporting your own data

Planned, and not billable yet

  • The paid tiers themselves, since no checkout exists
  • Family Rooms, and the recording gate within it
  • The Family Vault, Legacy Books and the Family Historian
  • The Documentary Studio and AI restoration
  • Institutional Archives, arranged case by case

The paid tiers are visible inside the app only in internal preview builds, and are absent from the app in the store. Nothing on this page can be bought today.

Free Beside Paid

What actually changes.

The paid tiers sit in one column rather than three. Separating them would invite a comparison of rungs nobody can buy yet, and the allowances that distinguish them are tuned at runtime.

Every row is a capability the app's entitlement engine defines. Rows marked Planned describe a feature that is not built yet; its terms are settled, its surface is not.

Questions

Asked plainly, answered the same way.

Does it cost more as our family grows?
No. The app's entitlement engine takes a tier and nothing else. There is no member count, no relationship count and no contributor count it can be given, so no capability and no price can vary with the size of a family. It is enforced in the entitlement logic rather than promised in the interface.
Is the free tier a trial?
No. It is a complete way to use Sibaya rather than a reduced version of a paid one, and the set of capabilities every tier holds is the same set the free tier holds.
If we stopped paying, would we lose what we had preserved?
No. Every gate in the app applies to a new action: the next recording, the next upload, the next restoration. None of them applies to what is already preserved. Opening, reading, playing and exporting an archive are held on every tier, including the free one.
What will the paid tiers cost?
They are not on sale, so there is no price to give. The figures are also tunable at runtime rather than fixed in a build, so a number published here would be out of date by design.
Can we sign up for a paid tier now?
No. There is no checkout, because the app has no payment integration at all. There is no queue for a tier either. We would rather tell you nothing than take your details into a list that leads nowhere.
