About This Record
What Was Written Down
An Ndwandwe cadet lineage that came into Eswatini after Shaka broke Zwide's kingdom. Matsebula, as reported, places the Mlokotfwa royal graves at Mbilaneni near Mhlosheni in Nxumalo custody. Lomawa, mother of Sobhuza II, was the daughter of Ngolotsheni Nxumalo of this area. Bongani Mkhatshwa's testimony treats Mkhatshwa, Nxumalo and Ndwandwe as related surnames. Recorded from the sources named on this entry; the wording here is Sibaya's own.
