About This Record
What Was Written Down
Ndlovu-Gatsheni records Mbiko Masuku, son of Madlenya who headed the Zwangendaba isigaba, married to Mzilikazi's daughter Zinkabi and the main challenger to Lobengula's accession in the civil war. Nyathi separately lists Masuku (Phenyane, Dungandaba) among the Ndubazi lineages counted as abeNhla. Lookout Masuku of ZIPRA appears in Wikipedia's list of notable Ndebele. Recorded from the sources named on this entry; the wording here is Sibaya's own.

If Your Family Holds More Of This
A family saying its own izibongo / izithakazelo knows them better than any directory does. If yours has more than what is on this page, it belongs here.
